Rebel's Rollout

Play as Rebel, a hamster wanting to escape their cage and enter the outside world! Roll, jump, and bash your way through 3 different worlds, all featuring unique platforming challenges. Press every golden button to unlock the final door of your cage!

This was a decently large team; what an experience! I was responsible for systems programming in this game, so everything you don't see (except UI) was probably done by me. Here's the rest of this awesome team:

Background:

I have a lot of memories with this project, mostly because developing this game had a lot of difficulties. It was made in about 4 or 5 months in 2023, as part of a production cycle class. It took a long period of time to figure out what this game was actually meant to "be," and we seldomly settled on many agreements as a unit. However, we learned how to compromise, how to work under time pressure, and ended up with... something! Much better than nothing, that's for sure.
